Update From The Chief Medical Officer
Hi all...please find attached a letter from the Chief Medical Officer. Along with this letter is a second attachment - a really FANTASTIC document outlining exactly what to do or what not to do in relation to COVID-19 and potential symptoms etc. It is probably the best document that has been provided yet as it gives really clear and concise information.
It's so good that I will be sending home a paper copy with every child, hopefully by the end of today, so that parents can stick it on the fridge, pin it on a noticeboard etc to ensure that you always have a copy of it to hand when deciding what actions need to be taken if you feel your child is unwell.
So far in school, we haven't had to send home any child with Covid symptoms. As parents / carers, you have been FIRST CLASS in supporting school by keeping your child off if you feel they either have symptoms, or are unwell in a different way. This has been fantastic and I can't thank you all enough for your support.
I hope you find the attached information useful. If you call school to ask for advice, we will also be using this document.
