P4 Trip to the Castle (Mrs Hutchinson's class)

Mrs Hutchinson's P4 class went to Carrickfergus Castle yesterday as the weather forecast for their planned outing next week was not good.

Everyone had a fantastic day in the sunshine posing for photos, having a snack on the grass, playing on the grass and sketching the front of the castle.

There was also a film crew setting up to film 'Dungeons and Dragons'!

Mrs Hutchinson took her class back to school through the Shaftsebury Park and the Leisure Centre. They saw swans up close and had a great time playing in the park (there was no one else there so it was very safe).

All the children said it was the best day and loved eating their lunch on the field afterwards.

Miss Campbell's class plan to go on their day out next week.
