P4 Egg Drop Experiment
Our P4 teachers were delighted to have their classes back this week and have been enjoying Easter themed activities.
One activity was an Egg Drop Experiment which both classes completed today.
In teams, the children decided which materials they would use to construct a parachute or a case to protect a raw egg so it would not break when dropped from a height.
Once they had made these inventions, they recorded their predictions and tested their ideas outside.
Only two eggs survived but the children all had great fun!
They learned what to do to improve their inventions next time and recorded if their predictions were correct.
