P2 Zoo Trip Room 9

P2 went to the Zoo today as part of their Wild Animals topic. It was a fantastic day and not one drop of rain!

The children loved touching the small zoo animals in the education rooms with Geraldine. They saw a tree frog and touched a snow leopard gheko, a stick insect and a hedgehog.

Then they saw the bigger animals in the zoo which included some entertaining monkeys and chimpanzees, a roaring lion, friendly meerkats and grump warty pigs.

After lunch at the Treetop Café P2 had fun in the park then visited the zoo shop before coming back to school on the bus.

A ZOOPER day was had by all :)
