MONEY! MONEY! MONEY!

Mrs Loughins and Mrs Miskelly, our maths leaders in school, organised a whole school 'Money Week' last week. Our P2 and P7 pupils made items to sell to the rest of the school. Any profit made could be used by the classes to treat themselves to a reward! They have chosen to go to Maud's next week for an ice-cream. Well done to all who took part as it was a very successful way to allow the pupils to have access to money, add and subtract amounts, price and sell items and gain a better understanding of monetary terms such as 'profit'.
