A famine in Victoria!
11th Sep 2015
Our P7 pupils have been experiencing what it was like to cook and eat during the Irish Famine as part of their topic. They had to dig the potatoes from our school garden and then use them, following their receipes closely, to make potato bread, potato soup or champ. Everyone recorded their work on the ipads. They worked brilliantly and the food was delicious. More of a feast than a famine!
