After School Clubs in 2024

A HUGE thank you to the staff here at VPS for running a number of afterschool clubs during the first school term. 

As you may be aware, the teaching unions in Northern Ireland are currently instructing their members not to lead afterschool clubs.  I am extremely grateful to the staff here at VPS for continuing to provide afterschool clubs to our pupils.

As you know, clubs have now finished for 2023.  School led afterschool clubs will begin again in 2024 on the week beginning 15th January 2024.

For the majority of our school led clubs, children will just continue to attend as normal.  If there are any changes to clubs you will be notified.  For example, some clubs had been oversubscribed back in September.  In this case, the children who did not get a space back in September will now get a space in the new term.  Again, all involved will be notified.

Please be advised that another charge of £5 per club will be issued via School Money when we return in the new term.
